Policy:  All federally funded research involving prisoners will be reviewed by the Health Sciences IRB (HS IRB) or the Social and Behavioral Science IRB (SBS IRB).  The Education Research IRB (ED IRB) will refer all research involving prisoners, regardless of funding, to the SBS IRB or HS IRB.  The Health Sciences Minimal Risk IRB (MR IRB) may review non-federally funded research involving prisoners.
